. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role plays a critical part in overseeing Distribution Center operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and team leadership.

Responsibilities- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring compliance and accuracy in inventory processes, and continuously improving procedures for efficiency and performance
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to optimize stock levels, reduce discrepancies, and support accurate cycle counts
- Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations related to shipping, receiving, and materials handling
- Collaborate with internal logistics and cross‑functional teams to improve shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships, including negotiating freight and supplier costs. Work with teams on CUSMA and CARM and other agencies as needed
- Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Support documentation, manuals, and testing requirements to ensure shipments meet customer and company standards
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving supervision
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage teams
- Experience using inventory management systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
- Forklift and material handling equipment experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
- Spanish language proficiency preferred, but not required
- Experience with Blue Cherry and e‑commerce logistics is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required;
Master’s preferred - Forklift, Wave, and Electric Pallet Jack certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching
- Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly; 50 lbs. frequently; more than 50 lbs. occasionally
- Operate forklifts and order pickers with loads up to 200+ lbs.
- Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus
