Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies and plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure plans and specifications are followed.
• Manage project budget and schedule, including tracking and controlling project costs to avoid overruns.
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, fostering a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and high-performance.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in fabrication is essential.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive working environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of building codes, laws, and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.
