Job Summary

This position is for a nuclear station leader who is responsible for the maintenance department, primarily associated with activities in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls systems.

Vistra nuclear sites include:
Comanche Peak (Glen Rose, TX);
Beaver Valley (Shippingport, PA), Davis-Besse (Oak Harbor, OH) & Perry (Perry, OH).

Key Accountabilities

* Provide technical and administrative direction in all aspects of maintenance, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.

* Accountable for the activities associated with the Maintenance Support Manager, Maintenance Services Manager, and Maintenance Training Coordinator.

* Ensure all Maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with approved procedures, instructions, regulatory requirements, and applicable policies and directives.

* Development and monitoring of Maintenance Department budgets.

* Maintain the preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

* Ensure Maintenance personnel are trained and supervised.

* Directing contractors on matters relating to plant maintenance

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

* Eight years related experience in the nuclear industry or equivalence.

* Four years of experience at an operational nuclear power plant. During the four years, the individual shall have help positions in maintenance at the supervisory or management level.

* Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications applicable to above skills

* Problem solving expertise and techniques to address issues

* It is preferred that you possess a Senior Reactor License OR a Senior Reactor License certification OR equivalent Operational knowledge
