To manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Assistant Park Superintendent, this position performs highly complex (senior-level) maintenance and construction supervisory work. Responsible for Lead Maintenance Specialist duties at Martin Dies, Jr State Park. Serves as the team leader for the field maintenance specialist staff by giving guidance, providing leadership, submitting work plans, scheduling workload and assisting with the maintenance and repairs of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
