Location:

Maria Island/Triabunna. The Ranger in Charge will oversee the day‑to‑day operations and resources of the Triabunna‑Maria Island Field Centre.

As Ranger in Charge you will lead operations across a diverse network of reserves, from Swansea to Marion Bay and Whitefoord to Nugent, including Maria Island National Park and the Darlington Convict World Heritage Area.

• Manage, develop, and mentor a small, skilled team.
• Progress the regional business plan and achieve strategic priorities.
• Support projects that protect threatened species and cultural heritage assets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and the local community.
• Manage field centre budget, expenditure, and resources.

76.0 hours (minimum 60.8 hours, by negotiation).

• A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in reserve management or equivalent experience.
