Flat Creek Estate Winery & Vineyard in Marble Falls, TX is looking for one operations manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. We are located on 24912 Singleton Bend
E., Marble Falls, Texas.
The Operational Manager will keep the day-to-day business accounting operations while helping shape the long-term growth of the winery as a premier hospitality, event, and wine destination. This executive leadership role works closely with the company's strategic vision, drive profitability, build scalable systems, and ensure operational excellence across departments.
The position requires a highly experienced operator with strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to build infrastructure for a growing luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the business operations through implementation of multiple systems:
Order Port POS, Quick Books, excel, winery management platforms, event management systems, wine club platforms - Work closely with the General Manager to manage operational budgets, forecasting, labor controls, and cost management
- Oversee inventory controls, POS systems, reporting systems and operations audits
- Implement and maintain SOPs, operational policies and compliance standards
- Maintain and manage all required federal, state and local permits and licenses, including those issued by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC)
- Preparation, filing, and payment of Federal Excise Tax reports, and Texas sale and use tax filings with Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
- 2 - 5 years of compliance, regulatory, accounting, or operations experience in a regulatory business (alcohol beverage industry preferred)
- Proven experience managing multi-department operations and high volume hospitality environments
- Strong financial management and operational planning experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems, winery POS systems, Quick Books, Excel and overall financial integration between platforms
- Ability to manage deadlines
