Roto-Rooter, operating in Edinburg, TX is looking for a Plumbing Service Manager.

As our PLUMBING SERVICE MANAGER
, your responsibilities will include:

• Coach and mentor a team of service professionals to provide quality plumbing service to all customers.
• Handle customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Assist technicians on site. Observe performance and provide training in various aspects including customer service, upsell products and services. Help build commercial customer base, and safety/OSHA requirements.
• Increase excavation business volume by developing existing business and cultivating new customers.
• Follow up with customers from leads provided by field service technicians.
• Identify bid opportunities, prepare bid packages and perform estimates for jobs.
• Meet with customers to assess the work to be completed, provide estimate, and close the sale.
• Develop additional business opportunities by selling Roto-Rooter’s preventative maintenance and priority care programs.
• Conduct work-site reviews to ensure safety measures are utilized.
• Monitor your teams’ performance standards weekly and meet with technicians to review and determine areas where additional training is needed.

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing industry experience preferred, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop field service technicians.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing estimates, closing sales, and developing business opportunities.
• Knowledge of plumbing service operations, excavation services, and commercial plumbing preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
• Proficient computer skills and experience using dispatching, scheduling, or service management software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as business needs require.
• Ability to travel to job sites and assist technicians in the field as needed.

Roto-Rooter is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Service Manager to lead our service team in Edinburg, TX. This leadership role is responsible for coaching and mentoring plumbing professionals, driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of safety and operational performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing industry knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to develop technicians through training and performance management. Responsibilities include handling customer concerns, assisting technicians in the field, conducting estimates and closing sales, identifying commercial and excavation business opportunities, developing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA requirements. This position also requires monitoring team performance, conducting work-site reviews, and providing ongoing coaching to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
