Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00
Responsibilities- Bench/Assistant General Manager (AGM) assists the General Manager with overseeing the operation of the entire restaurant.
- Maintains a safe environment and improves bottom line profitability through appropriate revenue management.
- Supervises the operation of the restaurant on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Team: assists General Manager with staffing planning, hiring decisions for all departments, conducts weekly manager meetings, develops and implements incentive programs, motivates team members to participate in promotions, provides performance feedback and appraisals, coaches on performance management, and develops assigned department managers.
- Guest: identifies techniques to attract new guests; oversees the restaurant’s Guest Comment program; ensures guest complaints are handled timely and provides coaching on handling guest feedback.
- Quality Operations: facilitates new food product rollouts; ensures standards for serving quality products, recipe adherence and portioning; communicates opportunities to department managers; teaches quality, service and cleanliness standards and manages inventory levels; analyzes performance metrics (GEM, QSCs, audits, P&L) and creates action plans; conducts administrative manager functions (invoices, inventory, end-of-day procedures); manages preventative maintenance and coordinates repair needs.
- Sales and Profits: holds department managers accountable for costs; maintains inventory levels; participates in departmental meetings; develops projections; understands and acts on the P&L; assists in creating the annual restaurant budget; trains managers to meet profit goals and respond to trends; performs other duties as assigned.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, results-driven with strong organizational skills and professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to create a fun, engaging environment for guests and team members.
- Basic mathematical skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and compliance requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience; experience managing a restaurant with a full bar is preferred.
- High school education or equivalent; valid driver’s license to travel between units; satisfactory background check; ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.
- Has successfully managed each department (Greeter/Cashier, Hospitality, Bar and HOH) for a minimum of three periods each.
