Retail & Store Manager, Operations Manager
Location: Orton Hill
Position Summary
Initiates and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers to serve as community members, building relationships with key individuals or groups and representing the company. Champions company-sponsored programs, events and sustainability efforts to associates, customers and the local community.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies, and providing direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance and providing recognition.
- Set clear expectations and communicate consistently and effectively, promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved and implementing process improvements for a high‑quality customer experience.
- Assist store manager in driving financial performance, reviewing profit‑loss statements, controlling expenses and developing plans to correct deficiencies.
- Participate in analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.
- Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs.
- Build accountability for measuring progress, identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning.
- Support company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and the Open Door policy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of college, or
- 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or
- 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U or Bellevue University).
- Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.

Annual salary range: $65,000.00 - $. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone, Complex Structure, and pay differential where applicable.
