Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor

Location: Lavon, TX

The Fabrication Supervisor oversees a team of welders and fabricators, managing the production workflow of piping components to meet the organization’s production goals while exceeding customer expectations.

• Direct the entire fabrication production workflow and maintain worker schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to build designed fabrications.
• Demonstrate understanding of core welding technologies and train the team.
• Enforce safety guidelines, promote a safe workplace, and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Identify, document, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of all operating systems relevant to the work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve performance goals.
• Set clear objectives and expectations for team members.
• Provide coaching, support, and feedback to enhance team performance.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Act as liaison between upper management and staff.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
• Handle machine maintenance and repair.
• Address personnel issues with management to foster a positive work environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  College Degree preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Certified in GMAW or FCAW ASME IX required; GTAW ASME IX preferred.
• 3+ years of fabrication supervision experience in a similar industry required.
• 1+ years supervising a team of 5 to 15 employees.
• Computer literate; proficient with MS Office 365.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail‑oriented work style capable of juggling multiple priorities.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lift/push/pull 50 lb, bend, twist, stand for extended periods, climb and reach, use overhead crane, forklift, and endure frequent exposure to outdoor conditions.
• Pass background check, MVR check, and drug test.
