The Facility Technician will be responsible to operate a process (e.g., plant, treatment facilities) and ensure safe and reliable operations. This is a broadly skilled position and a qualified individual will perform all operational and troubleshooting tasks. This job is assigned a shift at a plant that is staffed around the clock every day.

Responsibilities May Include- Performs startup, shutdown, and operation of various equipment/systems, including but not limited to:
- Gas compression, cryogenic processing units, liquid handling systems
- Treatment systems such as amine, glycol, etc.
- Utility systems such as furnaces, hot oil, waste heat, thermal oxidizer, etc.
- Conducts routine inspection and operation of dehydration systems.
- Operates storage and truck racks (e.g., condensate, wastewater, etc.).
- Works with others to optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications.
- Responds to alarms and problems within the plant and makes appropriate corrections.
- Conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities (equipment health, security, AVO - Audio, Visual, Olfactory).
- Performs a variety of mechanical maintenance and repair duties (e.g., maintenance and repair of fixed equipment such as filters, strainers, dehydration systems).
- Participates in and completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Reviews and follows procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately completes documentation such as timesheets, MAXIMO work orders, safe job plans/work permits, and regulatory reports.
- Optimizes work to be efficient and aligned with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and the SAFETY and Stop Work Authority principles.
- Works autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions.
- Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
- Performs and documents regulatory required inspections.
- May oversee contractors providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control).
- Reads and comprehends technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Writes technical reports and presents information to managers and plant personnel.
- Performs other related duties to meet ongoing needs of the organization.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Must live/relocate within 1 hour of reporting location
- Willing and able to perform/comply with the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays; be available for callout
- Climb stairs and ladders, including fixed and A-frame
- Frequently lift and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds
- Push/pull forces up to 130 pounds
- Regularly walk, stand, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch for durations up to 3 minutes
- Work inside or outside in heat, humidity, or other inclement conditions
- Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat)
- Safely work around rotating or moving equipment
- 1 or more years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry
- 1 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation and electrical work, or measurement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in both independent and team settings
- Completion of a technical school training program
Compensation Range
:
This position has a base salary range of $70,200 – $123,200.
