Title: Process Engineer - Injection Molding
Reports to: Engineering Manager / Plant Manager

The Process Engineer is responsible for defining, optimizing, and controlling injection molding processes to ensure stable production, high yield, and scalable manufacturing performance. This role owns machine parameters, mold setup, process capability, and production efficiency. The PE ensures that quality systems designed by QE are effectively implemented on the shop floor.

• Develop and optimize molding parameters for new and existing products
• Establish standard process windows and lock critical parameters
• Support mold trials, T0-T3 sampling, and production ramp-up
• Drive CpK improvements for critical dimensions

• Implement first article procedures and in-process inspections
• Ensure MES data integrity (machine , cycle time, scrap, resin lot)
• Lead mold preventive maintenance programs
• Support equipment PM and troubleshooting
• Convert PFMEA risks into practical Control Plans and reaction plans
• Define process monitoring points and escalation procedures
• Train production teams on process standards

• Drive OEE improvement initiatives
• Reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle time
• Support line balancing and capacity planning

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Plastics Engineering
• 3-8 years experience in injection molding process engineering
• Strong knowledge of molding parameters, material behavior, and mold design concepts
• Experience with large-tonnage machines (preferred)
• Familiar with MES systems and production data analysis
• Hands-on problem solver, comfortable working on shop floor
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality and Production teams
