Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining inventory control.
• Must have the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently.
• Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and overall condition of shipments.
• Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and part number with information on packing slip and purchase orders.
• Inspect and record any shipments for discrepancies, damage or defects and notify supervisor if necessary.
• Photograph and record all incoming and outgoing shipments and save photos on drives.
• Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart.
• Package outgoing shipments and part mark material if required.
• Take physical inventory count periodically.
• Drive company vehicle to various locations to deliver materials. Obtain authorized signatures for deliveries if required.
• Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify immediate supervisor if found.
• Complete training requirements prior to using Forklift.
• Follow safety procedures in warehouse at all times.
• Maintains company vehicles, refueling, cleaning, oil changes, and inspections.
• Responsible for ensuring scrap metal material are disposed of in the appropriate bins for recycling.
• Responsible for following shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ensure warehouse is well maintained and kept organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of your knowledge.

Competitive Salary, Based on experience. Hours of operation are Mon-Friday 7:30 a.m-4:00 p.m. Company Match 401(K) Retirement Plan available after one year.
