The Company

Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions is a leader in providing high-quality aluminum extrusion products and services tailored for various industrial needs.

Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient handling and packaging of products to be shipped to suppliers and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Proper handling, packaging and preservation of product
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Identify and report safety concerns to the Packing Team Leader
• Identify and report maintenance needs to the Packing Team Leader
• Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly
• Interpretation of work orders and packaging instructions
• Complete and submit daily production reports
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: This is an entry level position and does not require any specific qualifications other than presenting a strong work ethic and good attendance.

Education and/or

Experience:

High School diploma preferred

Language/Communication

Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Computer

Skills:

Basic computer skills needed for printing labels.
