Lease Operators

The Lease Operator is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment and facilities. This role ensures production optimization while maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

• Monitor and maintain oil and gas production equipment including wells, separators, tanks, and associated facilities
• Record and report daily production data, pressures, and fluid levels
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective action as needed
• Conduct tank gauging, sampling, and well testing
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify and report safety hazards and participate in safety programs
• Coordinate with field personnel, foremen, and other teams as needed
• Maintain accurate field documentation and reports

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lease Operator or similar role in oil and gas production
• Strong understanding of production equipment and field operations
• Ability to work a 10/4 schedule and respond to call‑outs as needed
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for reporting and data entry

• Experience in South Texas / Eagle Ford operations
