WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Stackers get our packaged product ready for our customers by putting together cases and pallets. Stackers must be safety-minded, have good attention to detail and must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.

Essential Functions:

* Packs the correct product and number of bagged products into boxes according to customer orders for shipment.

* Constructs boxes or containers.

* Stacks finished boxes onto pallets safely and efficiently.

* Places month sticker and product production tag on each pallet.

* Ensures supplies are readily available for the Packaging Machine Operator.

* Completes required paperwork such as pallet tags.

* Transports needed packaging materials to the production area.

* Breaks up unusable packaged product when required.

* Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

* During downtime, ensure the cleanliness of the work area and/or assist other machine operators.

* Assists machine operator with loading packaging material onto machine.

* Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms and safety policies.

* Performs other duties as assigned by management.

WHAT WE NEED

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

* Ability to follow directions

* Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, labor intensive manufacturing environment

* Ability to perform basic math skills

* Effectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management personnel

* Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed

* Display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel
