What You'll Be Doing

Stackers prepare packaged product for customers by assembling cases and pallets. They must be safety-minded, have good attention to detail and be able to lift up to 50 lbs continuously.

Essential Functions
  • Packs the correct product and number of bagged products into boxes according to customer orders for shipment.
  • Constructs boxes or containers.
  • Stacks finished boxes onto pallets safely and efficiently.
  • Places month sticker and product production tag on each pallet.
  • Ensures supplies are readily available for the Packaging Machine Operator.
  • Completes required paperwork such as pallet tags.
  • Transports needed packaging materials to the production area.
  • Breaks up unusable packaged product when required.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • During downtime, ensures the cleanliness of the work area and/or assists other machine operators.
  • Assists machine operator with loading packaging material onto machine.
  • Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms and safety policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Formal Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast‑paced, labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Effective communication of questions, problems, and reports to colleagues, supervisory, and management personnel.
  • Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
