The Production Associate performs daily production activities for the San Angelo production facility and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed, maintains cleanliness and organization of the production area, transports materials, and performs various duties to assist in efficient production of company products.
Job Description- Process work orders and operate digital production equipment, including imaging, laminating, and fiber laser machines.
- Set up equipment by selecting correct settings, loading materials, ensuring proper feeding, temperature, pressure, and production speeds.
- Inspect products after printing, lamination, and/or cutting to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Clean materials, proofread finished products, and perform quality checks to confirm all items meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Gain technical understanding of how each material and product is produced.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers to ensure commitments are met/exceeded and provide ongoing support.
- Retrieve order files and operate post‑digital output, including imaging, laminating equipment, and fiber laser.
- Finish products following printing, lamination and/or cutting; conduct quality assurance.
- Perform routine machinery maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
- Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum production rates.
- Work effectively on different projects simultaneously.
- Comply with relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, construction, or related experience.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance.
- High attention to detail; good eye for color and design.
- Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator a plus.
- Self‑motivated; ability to prioritize and work independently at a fast pace with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift.
High School Degree or Equivalent.
Additional Requirements- Pass drug screen and background check.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent attendance.
Moderate risk of injury; able to lift 50 lbs and work on feet entire shift; safety equipment required in production area; work hours may vary between standard production shift hours; average 40 hours a week; consistent attendance required; compliance with safety requirements.
Work HoursMonday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST.
Pay Rate$19.00/hr actual compensation subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
