Job Description
This position will be responsible for the assembly, repair, and testing of aerospace components in accordance with company specifications. The role uses precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment to perform assembly, inspections, calibration, and tests.
Responsibilities- Assembly, repair, and testing of aerospace components per company specifications.
- Detect and report faulty components and processes.
- Maintain required documentation and records accurately and within schedule.
- Visually inspect parts and product for quality.
- Utilize aerospace industry best practices in daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work overtime, including occasional weekends.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to use precision tools to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot complicated aircraft components and assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams of mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic components and assemblies.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers, team members, and individuals for technical discussions and solutions.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Understanding of industry standards for mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems and the application of mechanical‑electro‑hydraulic components.
- A&P certification is preferred.
- 2‑year degree in mechanical or a technical field that covers mechanics, hydraulics, or electronics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in repair, troubleshooting, maintaining, and applying mechanical/electrical/hydraulic aircraft components and systems.
- Experience with 3‑D and 2‑D CAD drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Experience with an adaptive problem‑solving approach and implementing solutions.
- Experience providing support to engineering, project management, production, overhaul, and mechanical engineering team members.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. Therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or persons with protected status. The employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
