As a Materials Handler IV, you will load, unload, and move materials accurately within the work site, ensuring seamless logistics. You’ll inspect materials for quality and defects, identify items by part number or description, and manually handle materials onto pallets and shelves. Your role includes conveying materials to designated areas, counting and recording units handled daily, cleaning work areas and equipment, and assembling crates when needed.

Attaching labels and tags to materials to maintain proper identification will also be part of your responsibilities. Upholding all safety protocols is paramount to ensure a secure work environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
• Accurate identification of materials by part number or description
• Strong attention to detail in inspection and recording
• Basic knowledge of material handling equipment and safety practices
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Forklift or material handling certifications
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in material handling roles, preferably at an advanced level (Materials Handler IV or similar)

• Adherence to all safety rules and procedures
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Must be able to pass background checks and safety assessments
