The Manufacturing Processing Coordinator
The Manufacturing Processing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completion, and timely execution of work orders. This role is an administrative and shop floor coordination to maintain efficient production flow, accurate inventory tracking, through tablets on the floor to ERP system, bi‑lingual a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Verify accuracy of work orders through all processes on the shop floor through tablets.
- Update discrepancies found on the shop floor for accurate reporting on material issues and completions while in production.
- Track and reconcile inventory of raw materials and supplies for availability.
- Communicate issues and correct to appropriate departments & leads as needed.
- Ensure adherence to company policies related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Maintain professional working relationships while supporting a positive team environment.
- Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and production data entry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication.
- Experience with steel manufacturing.
- Stand, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach frequently.
- Frequently push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
- Wear PPE including gloves, face protection, and steel‑toed boots.
- Work around cranes and moving equipment.
- Work in environments with dangerous and/or objectionable fumes with exposure to fumes from: metals (aluminum, antimony, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, silver, tin, titanium, vanadium, zinc); gases (argon, helium, nitrogen, carbon dioxide); welding processes (nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, phosgene, hydrogen fluoride, carbon dioxide); galvanized material.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of successful work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills.
- Ability to read, write, and maintain attention to detail.
