Fitter Helper PM or AM Shift

As a leader in the industry, we are rapidly growing and looking for a Welder Helper to join our exciting team in a fast-paced environment in Rhome, TX. • Assisting welders and fitters in the fabrication of metal and steel structures
• Setting up work as required for welding
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to use various shop tools and equipment (saws, drills, press, grinders)
• Spanish speaking an asset
• Ability to read tape measure to 1/16”
• Experience working in a steel manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Frequently push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Work in extremely hot or cold environments
• Work in extremely dusty environments
• Work in extremely noisy environments
• Work in environments with dangerous and/or objectionable fumes with exposure to fumes from:
• Metals that include aluminum, antimony, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, silver, tin titanium, vanadium, zinc
• Gases that include argon, helium, nitrogen, carbon dioxide
• Welding processes that include nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, phosgene, hydrogen fluoride, carbon dioxide
• Galvanized material

• PM Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (overtime as needed), half days Saturday
