Pay: $18.95 per hour + $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, possible Saturdays
Position SummaryUnload cages of live birds from trailers and place them onto the dump system. Remove empty cages from the dump system and return them to the trailer. Conduct a safety inspection and fuel the vehicle as needed during startup. Operate the forklift to retrieve full cages and begin with the front‑most top cage. Move cages to the cage‑dump rollers and line them up.
Then move to the out‑feed rollers and retrieve empty cages. Lift empty cages from the exit rollers, drive back to the trailer, and place them in the first available empty space. The successful candidate must be willing and able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must have: Six months of continuous work history with a prior employer. Forklift operator experience preferred.
Rehire EligibilityPrior Employee Waiting Period: 181 days before you can reapply if previously employed at Tyson.
Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you worked at Tyson no more than three times.
