Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions is a leader in providing high-quality aluminum extrusion products and services tailored for various industrial needs.

The safe and efficient operation of powder coat painting equipment.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Identify and report safety concerns to the Paint Line Leader
• Identify and report maintenance needs to the Paint Line Leader
• Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product being painted and respond accordingly
• Start up and shut down all equipment each day
• Interpret work orders and drawings to determine paint requirements
• Operate and maintain the powder coat booth and gun(s) in order to achieve optimum paint quality
• Work with Paint Line Leader to optimize line speed while maintaining quality
• Test and maintain proper chemical and Ph levels in wash tanks
• Clean wash tanks as required
• Maintain records of water usage and Ph levels in holding tank
• Maintain records of paint being used per job
• Submit weekly powder inventory to Purchasing personnel
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Other duties may be assigned

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of powder coat painting processes
• Good communication in a team environment as well as critical thinking skills.
• Must be goal oriented in order to achieve daily production targets.

• High School diploma preferred
• 2 years of experience in powder coat painting

• Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
