Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY:

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with little or no supervision. Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures as stated in the company handbook in order to maintain a fair and consistent working environment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain machinery and related equipment (ex: properly grease, oil, change saw blades, etc.) and report any irregularities or malfunctions prior to end of shift.
• Train and assist other personnel as needed.
• Responsible for moving materials safely from one location to another, sometimes utilizing assorted forklift models.
• Produce a quality product while satisfying daily production quantities and reporting.
• Adhere to all Packless policies and procedures as stated in the company handbook, including but not limited to, job-related safety, health, ISO, personal protective equipment, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITES:

• Ability to follow instructions and continued training throughout employment with a desire for self-improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be physically capable of working in conditions that are hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced.
• A willingness to work any shift on any day including overtime scheduled or in an emergency.
• Trustworthy with ability to work with little or no supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs.
