Equipment Operator I - Workover

As an Equipment Operator I, you will support well site operations by operating and maintaining specified equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the performance of pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports. Drive equipment to and from various locations. Perform rig up and rig down of designated service units, pressure control equipment, pumps, tanks, manual or hydraulic pipe handler and other heavy equipment as needed.

Ensure that fuel and fluid levels are kept at healthy operating thresholds on designated service units.

Operate the rig floor; pulling/laying down rods, tubing and casing.

Operate equipment on location that can includes man lift, fork-lift, pumps, tanks, and hydraulic pipe handler.

Monitor, inspect, and adjust all major equipment during operations to ensure the adequate operation of all equipment. Listens to engines and other equipment in order to detect faulty operations, or unusual well conditions. Review information from material, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems.

Qualifications

We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team. Ideal candidates will have:

High school diploma or general degree (GED)

Valid Class C license is required

One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

The ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Basic math skills

Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities

Work shifts up to 12 hours

Overtime as needed

5/2 Schedule

Hours may vary based on operational needs
