CNC Operator

Job Description

The CNC machine operator is responsible for running computer numerical control (CNC) machines that cut, shape, and finish raw materials into precise components. Operators ensure machines function correctly, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment for efficiency and safety. Make minor adjustments and inspect parts to meet specifications.

• Attention to detail:
  Ensuring parts meet precise specifications
• Mechanical aptitude:
  Understanding machine operations and troubleshooting
• Basic math skills:
  Performing measurements, calculations, and tolerances
• Blueprint reading:
  Interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
• Use of measuring tools:
  Micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other gauges
• Computer literacy:
  Operating CNC software and monitoring machine programs
• Problem-solving and communication:
  Quickly identifying issues and reporting them effectively

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in metal fabrication a plus
• Have a good work ethic
• Team player and willing to learn and be trained
