Overview
Steel Dynamics
The packager is responsible for the banding and packaging of coils at the Exit Sections of the Galvanizing Lines.
Responsibilities- Properly package, band and identify finished coils
- Help with inventory management
- Unload packaging supplies
- Operation of coil tracking and location equipment
- Perform any labor duties required by the lines
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills
- Safety and quality oriented
- Good people skills
- The desire to learn other positions for development and advancement
- Overhead crane certified
- Forklift certified
