Production Supervisor– Role Overview
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. This role leads production teams, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement on the floor.
What You’ll Do- Plan and oversee production schedules to meet output goals.
- Lead, train, and develop production employees.
- Monitor processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulations.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Resolve production issues and drive root cause improvements.
- Track KPIs and maintain accurate production reporting.
- Support performance reviews and employee development.
- High school diploma or GED required (technical degree preferred).
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday.
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor.
- Occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
- Up to 10% travel.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment.
