Welder - 2nd Shift

Overview

Fabricator/Welder will use various techniques to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints. Must be proficient in interpreting shop drawings for construction of all types of structures. Utilize cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to create necessary components and assemble them into the final structure. Strong mechanical skills and above-average knowledge of welding techniques are required.

Ability to work alone and with team members. Ability to stand for long periods. Lift or carry at least 50 lbs.

• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine fabrication requirements and sequence.
• Use cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to cut, shape, and assemble components.
• Fabricate steel structures according to defined specifications to ensure proper fit and finish.
• Maintain production quality and adhere to safety standards during fabrication and assembly.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

• Proficiency in interpreting shop drawings for construction of all types of structures.
• Knowledge of AISC quality standards.
• Safety certifications; forklift certifications a plus but not required.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience with welding techniques.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry at least 50 lbs.
