Production Associate - 1st Shift

SummaryJoin our team as a Production Associate and be part of the team that brings quality products to customers every day. In this role, you will support essential production and distribution operations by working with raw and cooked packaged products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will assist with setting up production lines, palletizing, picking, sanitation, box room operations, and handling totes, all while following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Work at various stations along the production line to process poultry food products.
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
- Participate in company and department safety programs.
Monday through Saturday, 5:45 am – 3:00 pm.
PreferredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a distribution warehouse.
- Work in a plant environment with wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
- Wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 28 °F to 100 °F.
- Handle product temperatures between 25 °F and 50 °F.
- Exposure to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 dB.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10 ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
