Process Technician / Injection Molding - Experience Needed

Job is located in Gladewater, Texas.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday. 8.5 to 9 hours per day.

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Maybe called upon to act as shift supervisor.
• Maybe called upon to act as QA inspector.
• Help train machine operators to work instructions and defects.
• Set‑up molds and processes.
• Inspect parts being produced to find problems before they become quality issues.
• Maintain basic day to day trimmer operations. Lubing, punch, die and blade changes, etc.
• Maintain blow molding, injection molding and process equipment. Keep them clean and organized.
• Maintain blow molds and injection mold cleaning and lubing.
• Help Material Handlers when needed.
• Support QA’s when problems with molded parts arise.
• Document process conditions and compare to approved process.
• Seek out safety issues and report them immediately.
• Participate in and suggest ideas for continuous improvement and cost reduction ideas.
• Practices self‑improvement and self‑discipline.
• Be proactive rather than reactive in your assigned areas.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Maintain a clean, efficient and organized work area.
• Knows and understands the Quality Policy.
• Requires little or no supervision of work performed.
• Responsible for communicating with and taking all rejected plastic parts that have been molded in your assigned section directly to the shift Supervisor for disposition.
