Pro Feeds Production Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Operator for our Hi‑Pro Feeds brand in Comanche, TX. This manufacturing position focuses on Mixing, Trace Area, Bagging, and Inventory Counts. The Operator will perform manual operational activities, operate machinery and tools, and communicate daily with colleagues and supervisors. The role requires compliance with all relevant safety regulations, procedures, and technical standards.

• Execute operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate all equipment to contribute to safe, effective, and efficient production processes.
• Monitor the production process, conduct quality checks, and ensure ingredients are used according to established formulas and specifications.
• Inspect and perform small maintenance tasks on production equipment, report defects and deficiencies, and perform minor repairs as applicable.
• Log data and information on production orders in appropriate logbooks/systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading of goods for shipment, loading feed onto trucks, unloading ingredients, and verify correct items are loaded and delivered.
• Identify process deviations and signal opportunities for improvement with supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with personal, food safety, environmental, and quality regulations and procedures, promote SHEQ awareness, and take action in unsafe situations.
• Practice good housekeeping: keep work area clean and safe, ensure no hazardous situations.

• Warehouse or mill experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and/or working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capable of multi‑tasking and working as a team.
• Available to work extended hours as needed.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
