Production Position at Mercedes-Benz Werk Rastatt

The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans.

In the Mercedes-Benz plant in Rastatt, the body shells for the A-Class, GLA, EQA, and the new CLA are currently being produced in our body shops. We, in team Z3 and joining technology, are responsible for the production of joining parts in the flexcells. Here you will learn about various technologies and procedures of automated body production.

These challenges will come to you, among others:

• Supporting the operational engineers in ensuring quality and availability targets in the ongoing series production
• Participation in daily shopfloor rounds
• Participation in the preparation, control, and execution of operational tests in production
• Participation in the optimization of production systems and work processes, especially in the commissioning of successor series
• Participation in the planning and standardization of production techniques (e.g., resistance spot welding, laser soldering, bolt welding, bonding, and clinching)
• Application of digital analysis and evaluation tools

The position can start in October 2026.

Qualifications:

• Degree in business engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Secure handling of MS Office
• Engagement and team capability
• Analytical mindset and independent working style
• Reliability and self-motivation
