Plasma Processor (Customer Service) - We train

Our ideal Plasma Processor has great organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable working in extreme temperatures. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor files, shipping, and inventory control.
Primary Responsibilities- Collect and process donor samples for testing.
- Record weight of product and samples.
- Label samples and freeze units for final packing within required timeframe.
- Pack units for final shipment; pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for the testing lab.
- Monitor stored products and report working conditions of equipment.
- Maintain active communication and quality.
Work is performed in a plasma center. Exposure to biological fluids with potential infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F in a plasma freezer. Personal protective equipment, such as protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear, is required. Work involves standing 4–6 hours per day, bending and twisting for 1–2 hours, frequent hand and wrist movements, and precise coordinated finger movements.
Light lifting up to 15 lbs commonly, 25–35 lbs occasionally, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs. Requires hearing acuity, color perception/discrimination, near vision and far vision correctable to 20/30 in one eye to 20/100 in the other. Ability to follow instructions and work under guidance of oral or written instructions is essential.
