Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Duration: 12 Months
12-hour shifts, 48 hours/week
Responsibilities:Operate the Air Separation Unit and perform daily rounds.
Assist in truck loading and perform water sampling and testing.
Monitor and maintain the safe operation of an Air Separation Facility producing cryogenic products.
Control flow purities and pressures using SCADA/HMI/PLC systems.
Work with management to maximize production and efficiency.
Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Perform quality assurance functions to maintain product quality.
Prepare and maintain accurate records in line with safety, quality, regulatory, and production requirements.
Identify potential problems from collected data.
Perform complex plant functions, including DERIME and warm plant start-ups.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate process and system problems.
Take initiative to improve facility operations, reliability, and costs.
Perform administrative functions related to requisitioning, purchasing, and production accounting.
Ensure 100% compliance with safety policies, cGMP training, and techniques.
Promote and develop safe work behaviors.
Assist with safety incident investigations using root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:High school diploma or GED.
Two years of technical college or military technical experience.
Minimum 2 years of operating an Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues with process and plant equipment.
Use of common hand tools and test equipment for mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
Willingness to work overtime, off shifts, and share on-call responsibilities.
Ability to work alone, weekends, and holidays.
PreferredSkills:
Understanding of water treatment principles and equipment.
Basic understanding of refrigeration systems.
Basic understanding of air separation and associated technologies.
