Plant Operator

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Operator based out of our Rosser, Texas plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Plant Operator
, you will work on preventive maintenance to keep the plant running and meet daily production.

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance of production equipment and plant maintenance
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment
• Experienced welder
• Be involved with safety committee initiatives
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily workplace inspections to maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experienced welder
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals to understand the technical aspects of equipment and perform repairs accurately.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment such as conveyors and rollers.
• 3 years of experience with equipment or plant maintenance

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
