Location: Hutchins, TX 75141

Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift : Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:15 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:15 PM–10:45 PM
• Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and welding test results

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced 1st & 2nd Shift Welders to join our manufacturing team. This role involves layout, fitting, assembly, and welding of metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and safe operations.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of welding experience. All candidates will complete an onsite welding test and will be evaluated based on the required welding criteria. Final pay will be determined based on experience and welding test results.

Key Responsibilities

• Select welding equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for final welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts in flat and out-of-position welds, including vertical plate and tubular connections.
• Perform welding using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of welding experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete and pass an onsite welding test (1G & 3G).
• Candidates will be evaluated based on the required welding criteria.
• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
