- Leedo Cabinets Division is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to lead finishing operations within our cabinet manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with extensive expertise in paints, stains, and clear‑coat applications for cabinet components, along with a passion for quality, process improvement, and team development. Only apply if you have 5 plus years of experience within a finishing leadership role.
Preferably in the cabinet or wood working industry.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Lead all finishing department operations, including paint, stain, and clear‑coat processes.
- Develop, implement, and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that promote consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- Manage hang‑line and flat‑line finishing systems and optimize throughput and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and delivery performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams while fostering accountability and engagement.
- Ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained .
- Coordinate production schedules, changeovers, staffing, training, and workflow priorities.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Plant Leadership, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cabinet, woodworking, paint, or wood finishing experience.
- Strong knowledge of paints, stains, clear coats, application methods, and finishing systems.
- Hands‑on experience with hang‑line and flat‑line finishing operations.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing SOPs and standardized processes.
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading teams of 20-50 employees.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
- Strong communication , problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
