- Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the quarry site.
- Complete pre-operational inspections and promptly report equipment issues.
- Maintain safe traffic flow and compliance with company and site safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals and operational efficiency.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean while performing basic operational maintenance checks.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical concerns.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable work ethic with the capability to work independently and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access mobile equipment safely and regularly.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely in varying environmental and weather conditions while maintaining situational awareness.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work EnvironmentRole operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
