Job Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems.
- The Manufacturing Technician complete tests, measurements, operations and process controls.
- Perform technical duties on functional work group projects.
- Employ test techniques and procedures for key cell projects.
- Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers and bills of material.
- Maintain production tools and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process or program defects and repair them.
- Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; perform wire preparation, stripping and crimping; perform harness repair and termination; use pertinent manual hand tools.
- Maintain skills in electronics, hydraulics and mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation and programming.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
- The Manufacturing Technician will support manufacturing and assembly operations in a hands-on production environment.
- The role focuses on mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, reading technical documentation, and supporting product builds.
- The team is specifically looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can be developed over time into a long-term contributor.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical assembly diagrams.
- Troubleshoot assembly and manufacturing issues.
- Work with production documentation including work instructions and assembly procedures.
- Support manufacturing operations in an assembly-focused environment.
- Maintain quality and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively through written communication and email.
- Approximately 1 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Looking for candidates who can grow within the organization rather than highly tenured professionals.
