This full-time, on-site Machinist role is based in Willis, TX. The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts such as chucks, jaws, and custom holding devices according to blueprints and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, measuring and inspecting finished components, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

The role also involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve machining issues, improving processes, and meeting quality and delivery standards. The Machinist is expected to follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized, and productive work environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions; strong understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and machining symbols.
• Hands-on experience with CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment; skill in selecting tooling & setting up machines.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment; commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machining issues, adjust setups, and improve part quality and efficiency.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices, proper handling of materials and tools, and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and peers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a machining trade program, apprenticeship, or relevant on-the-job training is a plus
• Prior experience in precision manufacturing or metalworking, especially in work holding or similar industrial products, is a plus.
