Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? UTEX is seeking a Rubber Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate machinery to process rubber materials for downstream production. This role is essential to maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring on-time production.

As a Rubber Machine Operator Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate process equipment including mills, extruders, calenders, barwells, and friction tower
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Accurately input production data into the MRP system
• Perform product quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
• Use measuring and inspection tools
• Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards
• Follow all PPE, health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
• Support internal and external audits
• Operate forklifts (certification required or provided)

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs
• Basic math, computer, and communication skills
• Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
