Location: South Padre Island

Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Creator to develop engaging content for our social media platforms. This position is responsible for creating photos, videos, graphics, and written content that promotes the company's brand, increases audience engagement, and supports marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, knowledgeable of social media trends, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage and maintain all company social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other platforms as needed
  • Take photos and videos of company events, products, services and promotions
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including photos, videos, graphics, and promotional posts
  • Monitor social media trends and implement new marketing strategies
  • Promote hotel events, specials, amenities, and seasonal activities through social media campaigns
  • Coordinate with department managers to gather content and highlight daily operations and guest experiences
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide reports to management
  • Collaborate with management and departments to promote events, specials, and announcements
  • Ensure all content reflects the company's brand image and standards
  • Maintain a content calendar and marketing schedule
  • Assist with photography and video creation for promotional use
  • Collaborate with outside vendors, influencers, or marketing partners when needed
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively online
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in social media management, marketing, or content creation preferred
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and trends
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing tools preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Photography and video editing experience is a plus
  • Hospitality or hotel industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • May require occasional lifting of promotional materials or equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout property for content creation and event coverage
Schedule Requirements
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed for events or promotional activities
  • May require working indoors and outdoors during events or promotional activities
