Role Overview

The Marketing Director will lead the Rx portfolio focused on Dermatology, Parasiticides, and In‑Clinic categories. The role sets short and long‑term strategic direction to achieve topline revenue and profitability objectives and executes all aspects of marketing plans with seamless cross‑functional collaboration across US and Global teams.

Responsibilities
  • Innovative marketer with experience in omnichannel environments for multiple categories in an animal health or life sciences business, including new product development, forecasting, long‑range planning, and go‑to‑market execution.
  • Possess relevant marketing leadership experience with a passion for raising business standards and fluidly transition between strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with sales leadership to incorporate the voice of field sales teams and veterinarian professionals into strategic planning and go‑to‑market execution.
  • Focus on both B2B and B2C campaigns, positioning, and activation, developing tools and strategies that sell to professionals (vets) and pet owners.
  • Experience launching new products, leading all elements of the go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Strong business financial acumen to determine ROI, cost analysis, and margins when setting pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Leverage analytical insights to evaluate sales volume, market trends, digital experience, promotional initiatives, and competitive activity.
  • People leader with a proven track record of coaching and leading a marketing team and focusing on learning and development for themselves and their direct and indirect team members.
  • Demonstrated history of driving large projects, reputation for getting things done, solid project management, KPI tracking, and cross‑functional accountability with vendors.
  • Professional presence with ability to present to senior executives, cross‑functionally within the organization, and to strategic external customers.
  • Responsible for A&P and GtN budget management across the Rx portfolio.
  • Conduct general market research to stay abreast of industry trends and validate potential new product innovation and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of applicable marketing experience with demonstrated progression of roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university specializing in marketing, communications, or business; MBA strongly preferred but not required.
  • Prior animal health experience seen as an asset but not required.
  • Strong collaboration skills at all levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit and passion for strong data analytics.
  • Excellent people‑first leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop others.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of developing talent in an organization with a focus on learning and development.
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills.
