Digital Minds is looking for a Social Strategist with a curious and innovative mindset to join our team and support strategy development for exciting projects across social.
If you’re passionate about the social renaissance happening right now and inspired by platforms like You Tube, Instagram and Tik Tok, this role is for you. A creative thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics and audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end strategic process (from briefing to presenting, deployment and report) in a collaborative manner across departments.
- Responsible for providing inspiration across various social and digital streams that will inform strategies, creative and content development that deeply connects brands with people.
- Acting as a key strategic consultant including developing social strategies (especially content & channel strategies) leading into broader digital strategy.
- Stay current and connected to culture and social trends in order to inspire and bring innovation in our strategic and creative work.
- Provide best practice in social communication development and implementation – including driving appropriate measurement, ensuring effectiveness of work.
- Proactively identify new areas of opportunity on client businesses, always on the lookout for new biz opportunities and account growth.
- 2 – 4 years experience in an agency and/or as a Digital Planner/Social Media Strategist/Social Media Manager.
- Strong knowledge of social media & digital communications planning.
- Strong at presentation with inspiring story-telling that can sell.
- Cultivate audience-first thinking – always starting with the audience.
- Be research savvy – understand how to apply qualitative and quantitative learnings.
- Be digitally savvy and up to date with social media comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
