Lakehills Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who is called by God to shepherd His people, faithfully preach and teach the Word of God, and lead our church in reaching our growing community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lakehills Baptist Church is a small, loving, active Southern Baptist congregation located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our church family is committed to biblical truth, genuine fellowship, discipleship, and serving our community. We are blessed with dedicated members who desire to grow in their faith and make a meaningful impact for Christ.

Lakehills is part of the rapidly growing Greater San Antonio region and serves as a gateway to the Medina Lake area. The community continues to experience growth as families and retirees seek the quality of life offered by the Texas Hill Country. This presents exciting opportunities for ministry, outreach, and church growth.

The Senior Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of the congregation, providing biblical preaching, pastoral care, leadership development, and vision for ministry. We are seeking a shepherd who loves the Lord, loves people, and has a heart for community outreach and evangelism.

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a call to pastoral ministry.
• Meets the biblical qualifications for a pastor as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Strong commitment to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.
• Ability to effectively preach and teach God’s Word.
• Demonstrated heart for evangelism, discipleship, and community engagement.
• Ability to lead, encourage, and equip church members for ministry.
• Agreement with Southern Baptist doctrine and cooperative ministry.

• Preach and teach biblically sound sermons.
• Provide spiritual leadership and vision for the church.
• Shepherd and care for the congregation through prayer, visitation, counseling, and discipleship.
• Lead outreach efforts that connect the church with the surrounding community.
• Equip and encourage members to serve and grow in their faith.
• Work alongside church leadership to advance the mission of the church.
