Assistant Director of Nursing

Join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to play a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance.

• Support Staffing Needs:
  Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
• Oversee Resident Care:
  Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs
• Manage Nursing Staff:
  Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
• Ensure Accurate Documentation:
  Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records
• Develop Care Plans:
  Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
• Support Staff Resources:
  Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
  
  Uphold Infection Control:
  Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Strong technical skills and leadership/management experience
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
