Responsibilities
Meridell Achievement Center is seeking a dynamic Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) hybrid position to work a full‑time schedule consisting of 5, 8‑hour shifts. Work will include assisting the admissions department and working directly with pediatric patients on the units. Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required), bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
- Prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience in situational evaluation and crisis intervention is a plus
- Requires a high level of initiative, motivation, independent judgment and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Physical demand is medium with extensive sitting, writing, and talking on telephone
- Must be able to assist during crisis intervention
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Current Texas RN License, required
