Position: RN (contract)
Location: Mullin, TX
Compensation: $38-40/hour
Hours: 8 hours/month
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Mullin, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care provided at the patient’s residence. Patient needs include 8 hours/month with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
- Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record
- Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
- Perform various activities associated with daily living
- Monitor changes in the patient’s condition (e.g., weight changes, self-care ability, disease progression indicators)
- Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other specified individuals regarding the patient’s health
- Provide one-on-one care in the patient’s home to create a comfortable environment
- Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
- Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs
- Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
- 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting
- Current CPR certification
- Willing to get TB tested
- Maintain required insurance
- Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home
